WHAT DOES THIS SCAN LOOK FOR?
Cerianna PET helps your doctor see estrogen receptor activity in breast cancer. The images can show where estrogen receptors are active and provide information that can help guide treatment decisions.
WHAT TRACER WILL I RECEIVE?
You will receive fluoroestradiol, also called FES. This tracer attaches to estrogen receptors on certain cancer cells.
