I have been receiving care at the Cancer Center in Albuquerque going on three years now. While I have been frustrated at times, my experience has been that the Staff and Doctors have always gone above and beyond to do what is necessary to address any concerns I may have. The nurses in the transfusion room are the absolute best and I credit them for making my treatment bearable. Patience and communication is key and you do have to be your own advocate but I definitely credit the team who designed the treatment for me with saving my life. I will always and forever be grateful to every single one of them.

They are a large FULL service cancer center. Their staff from receptionists to physicians are very caring, friendly, and inviting. They showed personal care for each patient and their family. They know this is a very difficult time for them. I had to be there myself in and out for a year. I have other physican's offices attached to the same building.

It was founded by Dr. Clark Haskins and Dr. Barbara McAneny in 1987, and from the very beginning, the practice has been dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate, comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care in New Mexico, focusing first on patients and their needs.

We strongly believe that in a rural state like New Mexico, it is important to make every effort to bring care to patients living at significant distances from major centers.
Along with our Albuquerque facility, NMCC offers a second comprehensive cancer care facility in Gallup, NM, bringing cancer care to western New Mexico and the Navajo Nation, saving patients many hours of difficult and often prohibitively expensive travel that in years past had resulted in many receiving incomplete and inadequate care and poor outcomes.
