Dr. Standoli began his medical career in Italy graduating Summa cum Laude from the University of Rome with a Medical Doctor and Surgeon Degree. After time spent as a General Practitioner in Rome, Dr. Standoli won an Overseas Research Award for post-graduate training in the United States beginning with training as a Research Associate at Little People’s Research Fund in Towson, Maryland and then at the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute in Baltimore. Dr. Standoli left Maryland for South Carolina where he completed his Residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia and his Fellowship at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
Dr. Standoli joins NMOHC after arriving in New Mexico in 2007 and having spent time as a Staff Physician for Presbyterian Healthcare Services including service as Hospice Medical Director as well as practicing hospice care, geriatric home-based primary care, and palliative care privately. In his spare time, he likes to run, swim, spend time with his family and play the drums.
