I have lived and worked in New Mexico as an artist for most of my adult life. Although the bulk of my work in past years was working with abstract and figurative subject matter, the landscape has always been an ancillary involvement for me. In recent years, working with the landscape has become more dominant in my work and now represents a pre-occupation. There are two salient concerns in my landscape art. One is the underlying abstract nature of the magnificent physical world we live in here in New Mexico. The second aspect is to endeavor to capture the beautiful light that defines and reveals this landscape. My artwork is represented by New Concept Gallery on Canyon Raod in Santa Fe and by Sumner and Dene Gallery located in downtown Albuquerque.
