News Release - March 2020 Exhibition
Movers and Shakers – Works by Artists Who Teach, Lead and Inspire
This exhibition – curated by Regina Held - features a variety of media and genres, from glass to quilts, painting and photograpy, by a talented group of artists who give back to the community and still manage to have thriving art careers. These tireless artists volunteer for art organizations, teach classes, operate galleries, and support good causes.
Ruth Andrews-Vreeland, Bonnie Buckley, Lynda Burch, Cristina Diaz-Arntzen, Carla Forrest, Michael Garfield, Jessica Kennedy, Ron Lohrding, Carol Lutz, John Meister, Christopher Miller, Maria Randolph Baca, Santiago Perez, David Schneider, Toni Seidel, Bruce Shortz, Eliza M. Schmid, Sondra Wampler, Dick Wimberly, and historic New Mexico photographs by the late Joseph E. Smith digitized and restored by A. Leon Miler.
The Foundation raises funds to assist with the non-medical needs of patients with cancer or other life changing illness. 40% of each art sale goes to the Foundation and is tax-deductible.
