Artist Statement

For this show, “The Art of Healing” I selected photographs reminding us that we are not apart from nature, but a part of it. Even in this building of modern medicine, we remain connected to everything outside it.

I hope these depictions of sky, mountains, clouds, water, and light will remind you and your loved ones of those connections. Healing of a kind takes place when we remember we are connected to the world outside our homes and buildings. What a privilege it is for me to present you these works here, in a place where my art these connections to Mother Earth may help create a space for healing.
