I studied art at Wells College and worked at the Princeton University Art/ Art History Department. I am also a psychotherapist. Presently I show at my gallery, Glimmerglass Artworks in Corrales, and I am president of the Board of Corrales Society of Artists. My glass art has been presented at the Corrales Studio Tour, Alameda Studio Tour, NM Artisans Market Premier Show, Studio J, GAZE Gallery and Gallery de Corrales.
I was introduced to the creative world of glass fusion in 2014 and I have been creating two and three dimensional glass work ever since. I love how glass plays with light, color and design. It provides a bit of mystery and surprise in the outcome. I incorporate a variety of different techniques such as vitro graph, mosaic, contouring and temperature control. I also with different glass types such as dichroic, stringer and reactive glass. I find the process of creating art gives me peace and the ability to still believe in the beauty of the world.
I am currently working with Tesuque Glass works for the purpose of creating rollups that turn into vase, bowls and plates.
