In early 2007, the New Mexico Cancer Center introduced a state-of-the-art, 18,000-square-foot cancer care facility to the residents of Gallup. This full-service facility, staffed with both a medical oncologist and a radiation oncologist, is committed to providing culturally appropriate, technically superior, patient-centered cancer care. New Mexico Cancer Center-Gallup also doubles as gallery space, displaying works of art crafted by area artists. The Center has been blessed by a Navajo medicine man, and features an on-site hogan for use by patients, as well as members of the community
NMCC has partnered with Gila Regional Medical Center to bring the same level of world class oncology and hematology care to patients in Silver City and southwestern New Mexico that we offer in our other sites, with a dedicated team, onsite infusion center, state-of-the-art radiation therapy, comprehensive imaging, and laboratory services.
