That's why NMCC's physician group, New Mexico Oncology Hematology Consultants, led the way in being the original practice in the National Cancer Care Alliance. (See the sidebar at right.)

NCCA positions itself so that its members, regardless of practice size, may participate in activities normally limited to large integrated health systems.
